You wake up at dawn.
Sleepy mind, broken heart.
A vinyl is spinning in silence. You put the needle back on the edge.
The dreamy vibes of the A-side carry you through the day, somehow.
This love story was dangerous. Why did she disappear like that?

Dusk, your friends have arrived.
Time to flip the vinyl and dance until you forget.
You are somewhere else now, far from her.
In endless, oriental sand deserts. In moist, narrow Brazilian blocks.

You go to bed at dawn.
Sweaty, breathless. Still a bit heartbroken, but relieved after all.
You flip the vinyl one last time, back on the downtempo A-side.

You fall asleep.
